How Sack O Subs came to Ocean City
The Sacco Family has been preparing submarine style sandwiches since 1947, at the White House Sub Shop of Atlantic City (Vince Sacco). Twenty-two years later, in 1969 Sack-O-Subs in Ventnor (Anthony "Fuzzy" Sacco) opened their doors and began offering the same quality to the downbeach area.
In 1994, The Sacco Family (Al Sacco, Son of Fuzzy) introduced the same expertise to Ocean City.
From the Boardwalk to the Mainland
As the "Sack O’" craving grew, so did we. We’ve spent the last 30 years bringing our expertise to every corner of the Shore:
In 1999 we opened up in the growing community of Absecon (Grandmom Sacco, Son of Al Sacco, owner/operators). We pledge to continue to use only the finest ingredients that have enabled these businesses to thrive for over half a century. We take pride in each of our establishments quality and service and will continue to do so in order for our product to live on.
